Honda has finally revealed its NSX Hybrid supercar at Detroit Auto Show 2015. It was a much-awaited production-ready version of the legendary Honda NSX. This strikingly new Super car is a projection of futuristic models and offers a lightweight aerodynamic body for utmost performance on the road.
It offers a race-inspired twin turbo V6 Honda engine, backed by three very powerful electric motors to produce around 550bhp. A nine-speed, quick-shifting twin-clutch automatic gearbox is mated to this excellent engine. The previous NSX was built very simply to keep the driving experience easy for everyday usage, but this time it has been modified to make it into a racing machine.
There are several designing tweaks and features such as side air-intakes adopted from the original NSX. Aerodynamics in a supercar plays a vital role and in the NSX, they hold the central position to produce the usable downforce for extra grip.
The structure of this supercar is made from a lightweight all-aluminium construction with a series of hi-tech materials. It is a blend of mixture of high-strength steel and aluminium which is bolted to an F1 style Carbon fibre floor and composite body panels.
Honda NSX has a cutting-edge body styling that hides the performance of an exotic engine under the bonnet. It has a 3.0 litre V6 engine backed by three electric motors. These motors help the engine and gearbox to maintain the momentum while gear shifting. The NSX is set to be priced around £100,000 and should be available this summer.
