Audi’s sturdy engines get us feel more engaged and its classy design hit the nail on the head too
Audi A1 is the series of opulent cars made since 2010 by Audi, a German car manufacturing company, subservient of Volkswagen group. Actually, its name came from its founder, named August Horch, Audi is a Latin translation of word Horch. He founded the company with two other manufacturers in 1932, in time, was an engineer.
Audi has a symbol of four overran rings, which shows the emergence of four companies collectively called Auto union afterwards. Audi A1’s was first launched in 2010 by Audi during Geneva motor show. Initially, it was made with three doors and the sale started in Germany in August 2010 and in the UK it started in November of the same year. The car was then pushed to different shows including Wörthersee tour 2010 followed by Paris motor show at the end of 2010.
Audi has launched variant models till now with a lot of quirks in compliance with a demand of the customers and poise including different successions and strings consisting of Audi A, Q, R and TT series.
Its top end stylish exterior escalates its grandeur with the eloquent engine, fantabulous hue and comfortable seats. Now one would be jumpy to know if It’d be able to carry important goods and chattels?
Audi A1 is approx. 6.25 feet wide including door mirrors, making it almost 30 mm narrower than a mini hatchback and it has 246.9 centimeters wheelbase. It is less than 4 meters long i.e. 3954mm with a stature of 1416mm.
Audi A1 looks quite sophisticated from inside. It has two seats at back with a cup holding center between them and 937mm rear headroom as well.
A1 looks small but it offers a reasonable space comprising of 270 litres with the rear seats up and when folded, enhances up to 920 litres. Some space would be occupied by Bose sound system so estimation is necessary before packing up the luggage.
The turning circle of A1 three doors is 10.7 meters as it has a short wheelbase. A 45 litres fuel tank is adjusted in it which makes its range ample.
Newer version of A1 has 1.4-litre turbocharged engine, is little expensive too with more consumption of petrol but the fascinating thing about Audi A1 is it also has 1.0 TFSI petrol with a pair of new three-cylinder engines. Audi A1 is most elegant car comprising of 1.0 Turbocharged Engine and upmarket comfort. So try its newer model for more fun and excitement.
